Youth Ministry

Biblical Foundation

Prince of Peace offers a discipleship journey aimed at giving your child that solid Biblical foundation as well as a safe place to explore, discuss, and develop their Christ-centered worldview. We come alongside parents and other primary faith-leaders enabling you to teach your child the faith.

9:45am – 10:30am

Sunday Afternoon Youth

Foundation & Frameworks

Foundation and Frameworks are classes that provide students with the tools and understanding to stand in faith in Jesus.

We meet on Sundays during the school year, 9:45-10:30 am, on the Prince of Peace Central Fremont campus
On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, 5th-6th, 7th-8th, 9th-12th grade groups, together with the parents, receive and discuss topics related to the three articles of the Apostle’s creed.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, 5th-12th grade youth and parents (and anyone else) meet in one large group to discuss specific topics that are relative to everyday Christian life.
We celebrate the faith journeys of each child at the end of the school year with statements of affirmation and testimonies given to the POP community.

Sunday Afternoon Youth

Developing community and inviting friends to be part of the community is an important part of your child’s discipleship journey as well. Each Sunday afternoon, following worship, we have lunch and activities for our students. On the 1st Sunday of the month, 5th-6th grade youth have an event. On the 3rd Sunday of the month, 7th-8th grade youth have an event. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays, 9th-12th grade youth have an event.

Serving the Community

Each summer our students have opportunities to serve in communities around the world, developing an understanding and heart for the instructions given in Acts 1:8.

5th-8th graders serve locally.
9th & 10th graders go on a U.S.-based mission.
11th & 12th graders go internationally, serving and living out the mission they have planned all year.
