A Day at POP Summer Camp
Daily Schedule
This is a sample schedule of what students will be doing each day, exact order of activities may vary.
Optional AM Care
Families that need an early start can drop campers off for convenient pre-camp care from 7 am to 9 am. Pre-registration is required. Call or email Stephanie or Toby to set up. 510-793-3366 or summercamp@popfremont.org
Opening
Each day kicks off with an all-camp energizing Opening ceremony full of games, songs, and object lessons.
Sports
Each week, students will focus on one sport and learn some techniques and skills.
Snack & Recess Break
Campers take a nut-free snack & recess break to refuel their brains and bodies. One snack will be provided for each camper such as gold fish or fruit snacks. If your child needs a larger snack, please pack them something extra.
Kitchen Basics
Students will work on their kitchen skills, try new foods, and create receipies! Students will get the chance to eat their creation during class or at snack time. Possible foods made include charcuterie boards, parfaits, quesadillas, cinnamon bread, etc.
Lunch/Free Play
All-camp lunch and break. Campers eat lunch and play outside with friends. Students can either bring their own lunch or utilize Choice Lunch.
Bible Class
Each week, students will get to explore different themes & events found in the Bible!
Week 1 - Jesus is the Greatest Gift!
Week 2 - Jesus is for Everyone!
Week 3 - Jesus is our Forever Friend!

Makers Space/Science and Arts & Crafts
Each Monday & Wednesday students will be able to participate in a makers space where they can spend time building whatever they want. Legos and other materials will be provided. They will also get to do science experiments!
On Tuesdays & Thursdays students will be creating arts & crafts!
Closing
We end the day together with a special all-camp gathering.

Extended Care campers head to our exciting, inviting post-camp destination to keep the fun rolling from 3 pm–6 pm. Activities include outdoor time, games, snacks, crafts, and a movie. Friday Schedule
Our Friday Schedule looks a little different than our Monday-Thursday Activities. We'll be spending the morning outside playing messy and water games outside. After lunch, we'll watch a movie and make slime! An exciting end to a fantastic week!

Boofer Tag - Messy Game
Students will get to play Boofer Tag! Where they will run around with socks filled with colored powder and tag each other and thier Crew Leaders. This colored powder is made with 100% food-grade cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C approved food and cosmetic dyes. It is is completely safe, non-toxic and environmental-friendly.
Snack Break
Campers take a nut-free snack break to refuel their brains and bodies.
Water Games
Students will get to participate in a variety of water games, including a water balloon fight!
Change Clothes/Lunch
All-camp lunch and break. Campers eat change into dry, clean clothes and then eat lunch.
Movie
Students will watch a G or PG rated animated movie.
Slime Time
Students will play with slime that they get to take home!
Closing
We end the day together with a special all-camp gathering.

What is the POP Summer Camp Cancellation Policy?
If you cancel your registration within 48 hours of registering, we will give you a full refund. If you cancel before April 1, there will be a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel between April 1 and 31 Days before the first day of Summer Camp, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 30 Days of the first day of Summer Camp, you will not be eligible for a refund.

I don't want my child to attend the full week, do you offer a daily rate?
No, a daily rate is not available. Our Summer Camp program is designed for students to attend the full week.
What do I do if I would like to add another week of POP Summer Camp to my child's registration?
To add another week of POP Summer Camp to your child’s registration, please call or email us with the weeks that you would like to add. You can reach us at 510-793-3366 or summercamp@popfremont.org
If there is space available, we will add that week to your child’s registration.
What do I do if there is no space available in the week I want to sign my child up?
We can add your child to a wait list. Please call or email us and let us know what weeks you would like to put your child on the waitlist for. You can reach us at 510-793-3366 or summercamp@popfremont.org
We will let you know as soon as possible if a spot becomes available.
Where do I bring my student at the start of Summer Camp?
If arriving between 7am-9am, bring your child to our Extended Care Center connected to our school office.
If arriving between 9am-9:30am, bring your child to the Gathering Place, right by the Circle and the Church Office.
If arriving after 9:30am, bring your child to the church office.
What ages can go to POP Summer Camp?
POP Summer Camp has been created for students who have completed Kindergarten through completed 5th Grade.
What are the hours of POP Summer Camp?
During a typical camp week, camps run from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday. We offer optional before and after care hours from 7am – 9am and from 3pm – 6pm.
Registration deadline for before and after care is May 15.
How much does POP Summer Camp cost?
POP Summer Camp is $300 a week.
Multiple discounts are available:
– Early Bird Discount (Register Before March 1) – $15 off each week
– Multi Week Discount – $15 off per additional week
– Referal Discount – When you invite a friend who has not attended POP Summer Camp in the past and does not attend POP School or Church, each student receives one $50 discount. Only 1 Referral Discount is available per student.
Please note that discounts will be applied after registration and payment.
Is lunch provided at POP Summer Camp?
No. Lunch is not provided at POP Summer Camp. Students should bring their own lunch or sign-up for Choice Lunch.
How does Choice Lunch work?
Choice Lunch can be ordered via the Choice Lunch App.
